A strange take on techno from Kyle Hall's debut on
FXHE, EP 1. Swaying perilously from funky to sloppy and back, crunchy Casio-on-cassette drums stumble forward relentlessly, unevenly picking up momentum only to degenerate into rough and unabashed tape edits. The whole thing is steadied by dark polysynth chords in a progression that would sit just as well on an R.D. James mindfuck as it would an early 90's Detroit techno track. The overall effect is all sorts of fucked up, I dare you to beatmatch this track.
